JOSH SIDENER

Hi, my name is Josh. I’m a Bay Area born and raised Digital Artist. I love drawing, painting, illustrating, graphic art, 3D modeling and air brushing. Although my profession is in graphic design I continue to learn in all these mediums because art can take many forms and I believe in a well-rounded skill set.

My love for art began at a young age playing video games, collecting trading cards and watching animated shows of various super heroes on TV. Marvel’s X-Men and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were some of my favorite. A lot of my free time in school was spent trying to draw the characters from these two franchises. I loved the comic art style that I saw on the trading cards and aspired to one day be able to draw just like that.

I studied Graphic Design at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, CA. As well as 3D Animation & Game Art at Cañada College in Redwood City, CA. During my time at Cañada College I was fortunate enough to be inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa honors society. My education does not end there as I continue to grow and learn through online courses and tutorials.

Through my experience as a Graphic Artist I have worked on projects large and small. From charity fundraisers, to large corporate events and for professional sport teams. My background in digital illustration and photo editing allows me to work on all aspects of a project. Whether it be for web, social media, print, or in special cases such as screen printing and embroidery.

In my free time I love to stay active by exercising or going for hike on the beautiful trails and hills of the Bay Area. You might also catch me at the movie theater watching the latest super hero, action, or horror film.

Ultimately, I’d love to work in the gaming or film industry bringing amazing stories and fantasy worlds to life. I’m always up for working on the next exciting project. So if you enjoy my work, send me a message and let’s create something special.
